A late afternoon drizzle calmed the heat in the city as the south west monsoon weakened over Bihar, while light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in the state, the Met office said today.
Patna recorded maximum temperature of 34.4 degree celsius, Gaya 33.8 degrees and Bhagalpur and Purnea 34.5 degrees and 34.7 degrees celsius respectively, the Met office bulletin said.
The state weather office forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershower tomorrow.
