South Indian actress Regina Cassandra has said the Indian film industry was going through a 'massive' change, especially the southern industry.
"I am glad to be in the industry right now, be it Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindior whatever. The film industry is going through a massive change, especially the southern industry," she told PTI in a recent interview here.
To a query, Regina said actresses of today must take up the challenge of doing a risky role, otherwise they would be left behind.
Showering lavish praise on Telugu actor Ram Charan for his performance in the film 'Rangasthalam,' in which he plays a small-time mechanic with hearing impairment, she said, "I am happy that Charan has gone ahead and played the role without any fear."
"I always wish to do such roles, like I did in 'Maanagram' and 'Awe'.
