Jake Gyllenhaal went underwent not only physical but internal transformation as well after training for sports drama, "Southpaw".
The 34-year-old actor went through rigorous training to prepare to play Billy Hope, a boxing champion, attempting to get his life back on track.
Terry Claybon,former boxer who trained the "Brokeback Mountain" actor for his role has revealed the actor crossed all physical boundaries to become Billy Hope and after the release of the film he will become one of the "biggest stars", reported E!online.

Even though, the "Nightcrawler" star looks perfect in the skin of a boxer, the actor was not at all in shape when he initially met the trainer
"He wasn't in any shape at all," Claybon said. "We met at a boxing gym, and he was jumping rope. Just the way he was jumping rope, I knew we had a lot of work to do.Everything we did in training was as if he was having a professional boxing match," he said.
"Gyllenhaal didn't have any days off, training seven days a week for six months. "We were working out three hours in the a.M., three hours in the p.M., six hours total a day, seven days a week," he added.
