In a restricted activity, soyabean oil prices drifted by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to tepid demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders attributed the fall in soyabean oil prices to subdued demand against adequate stocks position.
