Soyabean oil prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered retailers demand.

However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled at previous levels.

Traders attributed the rise in soyabean oil prices to some demand from retailers.
