Soyabean oil prices drifted lower by 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled at previous levels.
Traders said easing demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in soyabean oil prices.
