Soyabean oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on mild demand.

However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at the last levels.

Traders said scattered demand from retailers helped soyabean oil prices to trade higher.
