Soyabean oils up on retailers buying

Soyabean oil prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased buying by retailers.

Castor oil in the non-edible section, also moved up on increased industrial offtake.

Traders said increased buying from retailers mainly helped soyabean oil prices to trade higher.

In the national capital, soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,550 and Rs 6,250 per quintal, respectively.

Among non-edible, castor oil went up by Rs 50 to Rs 9,650-9,750 per quintal on increased industrial offtake.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
 

Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,000-1,200.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,450, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,300-1,350, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,250, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,225- 1,275, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,275-1,375, sesame mill delivery 8,300, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,550, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,250, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 4,800, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,250, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,850, Palmolein (Kandla) 5,650 and Coconut (per tin) 2,700-2,775.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 8,000, Castor 9,650-9,750, Neem 5,350-5,450.
