India's exports of soyameal and its other value added products fell by 65 per cent to 2.62 lakh tonnes in 2015-16 marketing year ended September due to lack of price parity, according to industry data.
The country had exported 7.51 lakh tonnes in the previous marketing year.
"Exports of soyabean meal and its other value added products during current oil year 2015-16 was 2.62 lakh tonnes as compared to 7.51 lakh tonnes in the same period of previous year," Soyabean Processors' Association of India (SOPA) Chairman Davish Jain said in a statement.

The top 10 export destinations during 2015-16 marketing year (October-September) were Sri Lanka 34,821 tonnes, Japan 28,859 tonnes, Indonesia 26,890 tonnes, Kenya 24,009 tonnes, Taiwan 16,380 tonnes, USA 15,056 tonnes, Korea 14,112 tonnes, Thailand 12,636 tonnes, Myanmar 11,846 tonnes and Oman 9,528 tonnes.
On a financial year basis, the export of soyabean meal and its other value added products fell by 62 per cent during April-September of this fiscal at 0.76 lakh tonnes as compared to 2.02 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of previous year.
