Soybean prices recovered 0.42 per cent to Rs 3,357 per quintal in futures trade today as participants raised bets at prevailing levels amid positive global cues.
Marketmen attributed the rise in soybean prices in futures trade to increased bets at current levels amid positive cues from global markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, soybean for the most-traded delivery in February contracts recovered Rs 14, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 3,357 per quintal, with a business turnover of 2,85,690 open lots.
Soybean for delivery in January contracts also rose Rs 9, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 3,340 per quintal, with the open interest of 6,080 lots.
