Soybean prices went up by Rs 31 to Rs 3,351 per quintal in futures trade today as operators raised bets in tandem with upbeat overseas market leads.
Marketmen attributed the up tick in soybean futures prices to strengthening prices overseas.
Besides, a firm trend in edible oils segments too gave a push to soybean prices, they added.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange platform, soybean delivery for November moved up by Rs 31, or 0.93 per cent, to Rs 3,351 per quintal clocking an open interest of 18,030 lots.
Similarly, the delivery in October advanced by Rs 30, or 0.90 per cent, to Rs 3,367 per quintal with an open interest of 59,390 lots.
