"Samajwadi Party half, BSP 'saaf' (finished)" is how BJP reacted to the raging feud in the ruling Yadav family in Uttar Pradesh, claiming it will form the next government in the state riding on its development agenda.
Having maintained all along that SP is its main rival in the upcoming assembly polls, BJP said the main priority of the ruling party is saving the Yadav family and not the state's people and wondered if the family fight is over the "loot" of public money since it came to power five years back.
"SP government has protected all these years land, mining and liquor mafia while public suffered from its misrule. Today praised was heaped on Mukhtar Ansari (an MLA with criminal background) in the SP meeting," BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma told reporters here.
