The BJP today alleged the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh intended to withdraw cases against 21 persons involved in terror-related crimes and dared party president Mulayam Singh Yadav to do so.
"If the case is withdrawn even against one terrorist, BJP workers will not allow Mulayam to step out of his house," BJP general secretary and in-charge of party affairs in Uttar Pradesh Amit Shah said.
He charged the state government with intimidating officials with a mala fide intention to use them for party's interests in upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state.
The BJP leader said the SP government's decision to give 20 per cent reservation to Muslims in welfare schemes would eat into rights of the backwards.
