Another Samajwadi Party MLA, Narad Rai, joined the BSP today and was given a ticket from the Ballia Sadar seat.
Rai, considered close to SP leader Shivpal Yadav, was sacked by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav from his ministry.
He joined BSP in the presence of its senior leader Satish Chandra Mishra.
Earlier, senior SP leader Ambika Chowdhury had joined BSP and was given party ticket from Fefna constituency in Ballia.
