The venue of the National Executive meet of the Samajwadi Party, scheduled to be held in Haridwar from September 11, has been shifted to Agra, a senior party leader said here today.
The decision was taken after reviewing the situation in Haridwar which suffered devastation during the recent natural calamity in hill state Uttarakhand, SP general secretary Ram Asrey Vishwakarma said.
The National Executive would now be held in Agra, he said adding the likely dates for the meeting were September 11-12.

Haridwar was chosen as venue of the meet following a request from the party unit there, Vishwakarma said.
