The opposition INLD today said the spar between two senior Haryana police officers in Gurgaon over a rape case investigation is a humiliation for the whole police department and demanded an inquiry into the matter to find out the truth.
"There is no law and order in Haryana under BJP regime. Here senior police officers are engaged in spar over some issue which has come in the open. The Gurgaon issue has humiliated the entire police department in Haryana," Leader of Opposition and INLD MLA Abhay Chautala said while addressing media here today.
"It has become a matter of discussion among people that senior police officers are making serious allegation each other," said Chautala.

"If allegations of (Joint Commissioner) Bharti Arora are right then you can well imagine how will be the state of affairs where senior police officers sitting at higher posts are harassing common people. And if her allegations are wrong, the proper inquiry be held and action be taken against the erring officer," he said.
In a major embarrassment for Haryana Police, the spar between two top IPS officers in Gurgaon had come out in open, with Joint Commissioner Bharti Arora accusing Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk of "falsely implicating" a family in a rape case and threatening herself, a charge denied by him.
A high-level probe by Director General (Crime) had been ordered yesterday into the matter.
Arora has levelled various serious charges against Virk, accusing him of slapping different charges against a family to "falsely implicate" them in a rape case. She has demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
Virk had said that Bharti Arora's allegations were false.
