In a bid to provide easy journey for devotees of Lord Jagannath to attend the Nabakalebar Rath Yatra, the East Coast Railways has decided to run special trains to Puri on July 18.
The special trains would also be available on Baduda (return car festival on July 26) and on Suna Bhesa (Lord's golden attire on chariots) on July 27," ECoR spokesman Nihar Ranjan Mishra said.
Bhawanipatna-Puri-Bhawanipatna Via Angul, a special train will run from Bhawanipatna at 11 AM on July 17 to Puri. In Return direction, this train would leave Puri at 00.45 hrs on July 19 and would arrive at Bhawanipatna at 2.30 PM on the same day.

The Sambalpur-Puri-Bhawanipatna Via Angul train would also run on Sunavesha day (July 27) and leave Sambalpur on July 27 at 6.30 AM and reach Puri on the same day at 4 PM.
In the return direction, the special train would leave from Puri to Bhawanipatna on July 27 at 11.15 PM.
Besides these trains another two special trains would run from Raipur to Puri via Titilagarh, Sambalpur, Angul and Rourkela to Puri via Jharasuguda and Sambalpur, the ECoR spokesman added.
