A notice of breach of privilege against Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy given by a Congress member for allegedly misleading the Lok Sabha over the issue of non-participation of Kerala Chief Minister at a function in the state, is under the consideration of the Speaker.
"The notice is under consideration," Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said during Zero Hour when K C Venugopal (Cong) sought to know the fate of his notice.
Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had recently written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing displeasure at the way central ministers 'misled' Parliament over his omission from the list of invitees for the unveiling ceremony of a statue of former Chief Minister R Sankar.
