The Transport Department has set up special counters at RTO offices across the national capital for online applicants, ensuring hassle-free service to them.
Those who have applied for driving licence or renewal of it via online can approach the special counter and get their licences, an official of the department said.
"With the set up of these counters, a person, who has applied through online, doesn't now need to stand in queues meant for physical applications. They just need to approach this special counter and easily get license issued on their names after completing some formalities," said a senior transport department official.
The transport department had recently started online appointment system for issuing driving licenses and under this system, applicants can also make e-payment for licence fee.
