With a view to clear heavy rush during the festival of Holi, railways will press into service a special train for Gorakhpur next month.
The Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Holi special train will depart from Gorakhpur at 2.30 PM on March 9, 11, 14 and 16 to reach Anand Vihar at 5 AM the next day, a railways release said.
In the return direction the Anand Vihar-Gorakhpur Holi special train will depart from Anand Vihar station at 6.55 AM on March 10, 12, 15 and 17 to reach Gorakhpur at 9.55 PM the same day.
Comprising four AC 2-tier, six AC 3-tier, four AC Chair Car and two disabled friendly second-class-cum-luggage van coaches, the Holi special train will stop at Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Bareilly and Moradabad stations enroute both the directions.
