The Special "Laksha Archanai" to coincide with the "Guru peyarchi"(Transit of Jupiter) at the ancient Alangudi Abhathsakayeswarar temple near Needamangalam will begin on July 21.
Jupiter will transit to Simha raasi on August 2, according to a release from the commissioner and executive officer of the temple R Sathiah.
The first phase of Laksha Archanai will be held from July 21 to July 28 and the second phase from August 4-11, the release said.
The Laksha archanai fee has been fixed at Rs.400 per archana,he said.
