He said the government would extend all possible help to those willing to set up solar or traditional plants for power generation.
The Chief Minister was addressing a public meeting after inaugurating a two mega watt solar power plant in Sandauli village in Barabanki district.
He said during its last tenure, the SP government took the initiative to increase power generation keeping future needs in mind and its results were now evident.
Akhilesh said farmers should get right support price of their crops.
He said the government would fulfil development-related promises made in the party manifesto at all cost.
