A set of four commemorative postage stamps, including one on Tamil king Rajendra Chozha, has been lined up for release by the Department of Posts during the next few weeks.
The commemorative special stamps are planned to be released later this month and next month, according to a communication received by the local Philatelists' Association.
Besides the special stamp on Rajendra Chozha, credited with building the Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple, an architecutral marvel, near here in the 11th century, a commemorative stamp on public sector navaratna company BHEL, marking its 50th anniversary, and another on Engineers India Ltd, (EIL) would also be released.
The fourth stamp would be on a seminary in Kottayam in Kerala, an official of the association said.
