Special train between Vadodara-Ahmedabad flagged off

BJP MP Ranjanben Bhatt and Gujarat Minister Rajendra Trivedi today flagged off a special train between here and Ahmedabad.

Bhatt thanked the Centre for introducing the train connecting the two cities.

"This is a first train introduced on this route after a gap of nine years and I am grateful to the Centre and the Railways for introducing the train," the Vadodara MP said.

Trivedi, Minister of Sports and Culture, too appreciated the Centre's move to start the train.

Vadodara Divisional Manager Amit Kumar Singh and other senior officials were present for the flag-off ceremony at the Vadodara railway station.
 

As per railway officials, train no 09151 Vadodara-Ahmedabad special train will daily leave Vadodara at 08.20 AM and reach Ahmedabad at 10.40 AM.

Similarly train no 09152 Ahmedabad-Vadodara special train will leave Ahmedabad at 3.20 PM and reach Vadodara at 5.30 PM the same day, they said.

The train will have 1 sleeper class coach, 8 second class coaches and 2 second luggage cum break van.

The train will halt at Anand, Nadiad, Barejadi, Nandej and Maninagar stations in both directions, officials added.
