Special train to clear festival rush

In order to clear extra rush of rail passengers during festival Season, Railways has decided to run special trains between Darbhanga and Mumbai from October 20.

The Darbhanga - Lokmanya Tilak weekly special train will depart from Darbhanga on every Tuesday from October 20 to November 1 at 5 PM to reach Lokmanya Tilak terminal at 5.45 AM the third day.

In the return direction, the Lokmanya Tilak - Darbhanga weekly special train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak terminal on every Thursday from October 22 to November 3 at 2.30 PM to reach Darbhanga at 2.30 AM the third day, according to a release.
 

Comprising of one AC-2, one AC-3, 11 Sleeper Class and two Second Class cum luggage van coaches, the Darbhanga - Lokmanya Tilak Terminal - Darbhanga special train will stop at Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Ballia, Gazipur City, Varanasi, Cheoki, Shankergarh, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Bhusaval, Nasik Road and Kalyan stations enroute in both the directions.
