Special train to clear pilgrims' rush to Katra

The Northern Railway has decided to run special trains for Katra to clear extra rush of passengers.

The Old Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Special train will depart from Old Delhi at 9.10 PM on April 13, 14 and 15 to arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station at 11.30 AM the next day.

In the return direction the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Old Delhi Special train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 1.30 PM on April 14,15 and 16to arrive at Old Delhi at 3.15 AM the next day.

Comprising of 1 AC Two Tier, 1 AC 3 Tier, nine Second Class Sleeper, four General Second Class besides Second Class cum luggage van coaches, the Old Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Old Delhi Special train will stop at Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations enroute in both the directions.
