Special train to clear summer rush for Kolkata

In order to clear extra rush of passengers between Kolkata and Delhi during this summer, railways has decided to run weekly 'Suvidha' special trains from May 14.

The special train will start from Anand Vihar station for Howrah and make six trips in each direction, said a senior Northern Railway official.

According to the arrangement, the Howrah - Anand Vihar Weekly 'Suvidha' special train will depart from Howrah on every Saturday from May 14 to June 18 at 3.20 PM to reach Anand Vihar station at 1.45 PM the next day.

In the return direction, the Aanand Vihar - Howrah 'Suvidha' Weekly special train will depart from Anand Vihar on every Sunday from May 15 to June 19 at 6.45 PM to reach Howrah at 4.40 PM the next day.
 

Consisting of three AC-III tier and 14 Sleeper Class coaches, the Anand Vihar - Howrah- Anand Vihar weekly Suvidha special train will stop at Dhanbad, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both the directions.
