Special trains for Lucknow to clear rush

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, the Northern Railway will run special trains for Lucknow.

The weekly special trains will be pressed into service from Nizamuddin and Anand Vihar railway stations.

The Nizamuddin-Lucknow train will depart from Nizamuddin station at 8.50 PM on every Monday from May 8 to June 26 to arrive at Lucknow at 6.25 AM the next day.

In the return direction, it will depart from Lucknow at 7.30 PM on every Thursday from May 11 to June 29 to reach Nizamuddin at 4.45 AM the next day.

Consisting of one first AC, five AC-2, nine AC-3 coaches, the train will stop at Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Bareilly stations en route in both the directions.
 

The Anand Vihar-Lucknow weekly express special train will depart from Anand Vihar station at 9.05 PM on every Wednesday from May 10 to June 28 to arrive at Lucknow at 6.25 AM the next day.

In the return direction, it will depart from Lucknow at 7.30 PM on every Tuesday from May 9 to June 27 to reach Anand Vihar station at 4.30 AM the next day.

Consisting of one first AC, five AC-2 and nine AC-3 coaches, the special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Bareilly stations en route in both the directions.
