Special trains for Lucknow to clear rush during festive season

In order to cater to the extra rush of passengers during the festive season this year, Railway has decided to run special trains for Lucknow from here and Darbhanga.

The Lucknow-New Delhi Superfast Express Special, New Delhi-Lucknow Superfast Express Special and Darbhanga-Lucknow Express special trains will be pressed into service to clear the extra rush, an official release said.

The Lucknow-New Delhi Superfast Express Special will depart from Lucknow on November 1 at 8.55 PM and arrive New Delhi at 5.35 AM the next day. Comprising AC, sleeper and general class coaches, the train will stop at Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations en route.
 

The New Delhi-Darbhanga Express Special train will depart from New Delhi on November 2 at 3.30 PM and arrive at Darbhanga at 12.45 PM the next day. Comprising AC, sleeper and general class coaches, it will stop at Kanpur, Allahabad, Mugulsarai, Patna, Barauni and Samastipur stations en route.

The Darbhanga-Lucknow Express Special train will depart from Darbhanga on November 3 at 3.15 PM to arrive at Lucknow at 5 AM the next day.

Consisting of AC, sleeper and unreserved general coaches, the special train will stop at Samastipur, Barauni, Patna, Mughulsarai and Varanasi stations en route.
