South Eastern Railway has decided to run 13 pairs of weekly AC superfast special trains between Santragachi and Rajkot from December one to February 25, 2018 to clear the rush of passengers during winter, an SER spokesman said here today.
The 02834 Santragachi-Rajkot AC superfast special will leave Santragachi at 21.05 pm every Friday and will reach Rajkot at 1.45 pm on Sunday, while in the return direction, the 02833 Rajkot-Santragachi AC superfast special will leave Rajkot at 22.20 pm every Sunday and reach Santragachi at 4.35 pm on Tuesday, SER spokesman Sanjoy Ghosh said.
The special trains consisting 14 AC three-tier coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Amalner, Nandurbar, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar and Wankaner stations enroute, Ghosh said.
