Specially-abled children need more affection: Salma Ansari

Salma Ansari, wife of Vice President Hamid Ansari, today emphasised that children with special abilities need more affection and care, and should be looked after by the society as part of the family.

Salma Ansari, who visited the visually and hearing impaired institution for specially abled children at Dhalli, 10 km from here stressed on enhancing the skills of these children and expressed happiness they were talented and knew well how to tackle problems and shortcomings which was an inspiration for others as well.

A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the specially-abled children on the occasion.

The children also interacted with Ansari and expressed their curiosity to know about the educational charitable institution managed by her.
 

Responding to the query she said that her charitable institution named 'Alnoor' was running four schools where free educational facilities along with various physical development activities were being provided to the needy and poor children.

Later, she also visited the premises of the institution and expressed satisfaction on the boarding and other facilities being provided to the children.
