The Bihar government today instructed officials to speed up removing "black spots" from roads at 124 places across the state which has claimed 400 lives in the last three years.
Road Construction Department minister Nand Kishore Yadav reviewed the progress of repair work.
In Patna itself 167 accidents took place claiming 56 lives from 2014-16, the minister said in a statement.
He said National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had also been requested to identify such black spots on NHs in Bihar and repair them on an urgent basis.
