Two minor boys were today killed when a speeding car mowed them down at Vattoli, around 30 km from here, police said.
The accident took place around 3:15 pm when the boys, aged
10 and 12 years were hit by the vehicle while they were returning to home from school, they said.
While one was killed died on the spot, the other minor died on the way to the hospital, they added.
The car later rammed into a roadside electric post and a parked scooter before overturning.
The driver, who escaped with minor injuries, has been arrested, police said.
