Spiritual solutions startup My OmNamo has raised USD 1 million in pre-series A funding from a group of high net worth individuals from the UAE.
The funding will help My OmNamo to consolidate, strengthen its management team, and expand its services in the market at the onset of the upcoming festive season, a release said today.
The company has reached out to 5,000 homes in India and over 1,000 homes in the UAE having registered 2,000 number of pandits on its platform, in the last two years, it added.

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation today said it has appointed Suhas Diwase as its managing director.
Diwase took charge on July 16, MTDC said in a release.
Currently, Diwase is also working as the chairman and managing director of Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation.

Prior to this, Diwase worked in various districts at several positions, including as the director of Disaster Management and chief executive officer of Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority and Collector of Bhandara district.
******************* MCX records notional turnover of Rs 2,931 cr in gold options *
MCX gold options touched record notional turnover and volume of Rs 2,931 crore and 9,641 kilograms (kgs) yesterday, with a turnover of Rs 33.26 crore.
The open interest has also witnessed a record of 3,986 kgs at the end of the day, MCX said in a release here.
The previous record was set on May 29, when trade worth of Rs 2,021 crore (6,443 kgs) was transacted on the exchange in gold options.
MCX introduced liquidity enhancement scheme (LES) in gold options on April 24, to facilitate wider participation in the contract initially, aimed at building sustainable liquidity in the contract.
