Both the legislators were terminated on Wednesday for allegedly misbehaving with MLA Gyan Singh, who was chairing the House on Tuesday.
The matter was discussed this morning during separate meetings held between Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and Assembly Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Rohani told reporters outside the Raj Bhavan after meeting the Governor that decks have been cleared for revoking the termination of membership of the two Congress MLAs and said that a consensus has been reached in principle on the issue.
The Speaker said when "the Constitution becomes silent, recourse is taken to traditions and this is what is being done here."
He said that after the resolution restoring the membership of the two MLAs is passed by the State Assembly, it would be sent to the Election Commission.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra said that during the special session no other matter would be discussed apart from restoring the membership of the two MLAs.
