The special summary revision of photo electoral rolls is going on in all 68 assembly segments of Himachal Pradesh, with January 1, 2019 as the qualifying date, a spokesperson of the state election department said.
The revision is being done as per the directions of the Election Commission of India, he added.
The draft photo electoral rolls were published on September 1 this year, he said, adding that claims and objections would be received till October 31, which would be settled by November 30.
The final photo electoral rolls will be published on January 4, 2019, he added.
He said that the public could get information regarding the registration process by calling on the toll-free number 1950.
