Shares of SPML Infra Ltd today rose by nearly 5 per cent after the company said it has secured new orders worth Rs 250 crore for power transmission and distribution in West Bengal and Haryana.
The stock went up by 4.82 per cent to end at Rs 62 on BSE. Intra-day, it surged 9.72 per cent to Rs 64.90.
On NSE, shares of the company jumped 4.91 per cent to close at Rs 61.90.

"SPML Infra has received new orders worth Rs 250 crore for power transmission and distribution projects in West Bengal (WB) and Haryana," the company said in a BSE filing today.
