Aluminium prices edged up by 0.09 per cent to Rs 115.35 per kg in futures market today as speculators built up fresh positions amid pick up in demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January inched up by 10 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 115.35 per kg, in a business turnover of 28 lots.
Marketmen said that fresh positions created by participants due to uptick in demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly influenced aluminium prices at futures trade.
