Crude palm oil prices rose 0.11 per cent to Rs 569.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions, driven by uptick in demand at the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in February edged up 60 paise, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 569.90 per 10 kg in business turnover of 179 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in crude palm oil prices was mostly due to fresh positions built up by traders due to pick up in demand in the spot market.
