Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.64 per cent to Rs 754.40 per 10 kg in futures trade Monday as speculators indulged in built-up fresh positions, driven by upsurge in demand at the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November was trading higher by Rs 4.80, or 0.64 per cent at Rs 754.40 per 10 kg with an open interest of 16,830 lots.
In a similar fashion, the commodity to be delivered in December also gained Rs 2.65, or 0.31 per cent, at Rs 746 per 10 kg. The open interest of contract stood at 49,940 lots.
