As Assembly polls are due in some key states next year, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi exhorted the party cadres to "spread the tentacles of the ethos" of the party upto the booth level, a senior party leader said here today.
A senior Congress leader from Maharashtra who was present at the two-day training of 'master coaches' of Jawaharlal Nehru Leadership Institute in Delhi which ended today, said that Gandhi, in his nearly one-hour speech to trainees, spoke about the "misdeeds" of the Narendra Modi-led Government and the urgent need to "save the country" from BJP rule.
"Rahul spoke about the inclusive agenda of Congress and divisive agenda of RSS. He also spoke about the idea of 'Swaraj', and the freedom of thought that Indians deserve and how BJP is crushing anybody who dares to think against it," the leader told PTI.

Rahul spoke about RSS's fear of poor Hindus which it feels will revolt against it if they found out how badly they were being treated under the veil of the Sangh's anti-minority stand, the Congress leader said.
"Rahul Gandhi wants to continue training members of the NSUI and youth Congress who will in turn make sure that they fight the RSS at the booth level in their own way and register wins in important states," he said.
Around 125 'master coaches' from across the country had been invited to the program.
