Celebration at a marriage turned sour when four persons, including father of the groom, died allegedly after consuming "spurious" liquor in Motipur area in Sultanpur district.
Father of the groom Mastram Dhuria (55), Ram Chandra Verma (30) and Rajendra (28) were taken ill after consuming the liquor in Shrirampur village last night, police said.
The trio were rushed to a hospital where they breathed their last, police said.
Meanwhile, Indrajeet Verma (35) was found dead this morning.
