Sri Lanka 131 for 3 at stumps after India declare at 536/7

Sri Lanka were 131 for three at close on the second day of the third cricket Test after India declared their first innings at 536 for seven, here today.

India skipper Virat Kohli hit a career-best 243 even as play was halted on the request of visitors in the post-lunch session due to poor air quality.

Angelo Mathews (57) and skipper Dinesh Chandimal (25) will resume Sri Lanka's innings tomorrow.

India 1st innings: 536 for 7 declared in 127.5 overs. (V Kohli 243 batting, M Vijay 155; Lakshan Sandakan 4/167).

Sri Lanka 1st innings: 131 for 3 in 44.3 overs (D Perera 42, A Matherws 38 batting; R Jadjeja 1/24, M Shami 1/30).
