Sri Lanka Cricket today said it would oppose the the proposed ICC draft paper prepared by its Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee according to secretary Nishantha Ranatunga.
"The executive committee agreed to write to the President of the ICC and inform them the unanimous view of the executive committee of SLC is that the said position paper needs to be deferred and reconsidered on a future date," a SLC release said.
The position paper is due to be put to the ICC Executive Board at its quarterly meeting in Dubai on January 28-29. The reforms aim to give a larger share of control over world cricket to the Australian, English and Indian cricket boards.

Sri Lankan sports minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage had rejected the draft as on which posed a serious challenge to Sri Lanka's cricket set up.
