Sri Lankan national imprisoned for narcotics smuggling

First additional sessions judge K Syamaladevi awarded the sentence to Nihal Prasantha (33) and slapped Rs 1-lakh as fine on him for smuggling 6.48 kgs of charas (hashish).

Prasantha was arrested on October 8 last year by Kakinada marine police.
