Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will offer worship at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at nearby Tirumala on Thursday, a top functionary of the temple said.
Wickremesinghe along with wife Maitree and officials will arrive here on December 21 and offer worship at the temple the next day morning, Chadalawada Krishnamurthy, Chairman, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which governs the temple told PTI tonight.
Wickremesinghe is set to return to Sri Lanka on the same day after offering prayers at the hill temple.
The last visit of Wickremesinghe to the temple in his capacity as Prime Minister was in 2002.
