The body of 17-year old Jagan, who hailed from Mannar District of the island nation, was found at a place near his house in the camp and investigations showed he had been strangulated, DSP Manivannan said.
Police were yet to get any clue on those behind the murder and its motive. The incident triggered tension in the refugee camp.
