Sri M Padayatra will reach Belgavi on May 9.

Mumtaj Ali Khan, a yoga preacher and leader of 'Walk of Hope', will reach here on May 9 enroute his long walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, said Siddramswamiji of Nagnur mutt here today.

Khan, also known as Sri M has begun his padayatra on January 12, birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, he said.

"Sri M" along with his followers are covering 20 km walk per day and will culminate padayatra in 2016 spreading message of Interfaith harmony, women empowerment, community health, equality for all, sustainable living and youth development, he told reporters.

The group will be covering 6500 k.M when it will reach Kashmir, he said. Interestingly, when the group reaches Belagavi, it will be completing 2000k.M, he said.
