Night temperature increased by few notches in various parts of Rajasthan where Sriganganagar was the coldest recorded place at a minimum of 7.5 degrees Celsius.
Churu, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Ajmer also recorded above normal night temperatures of 9.2, 9.8, 8.6, 11.4 and 11.8 degrees Celsius respectively, according to MeT department.
However, day temperatures dipped by 6 to 7 degrees today.

Meanwhile, Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur recorded 1.8, 0.3, and 0.4 mm rains till today morning since yesterday.
The weather conditions would remain the same during next 24 hours, the MeT department said.
In view of the prevailing cold conditions, the state government has authorised district collectors to announce or extend holidays in schools.
"District collectors can now announce holiday or revise time of class 1 to 5 in all government and private schools as per the weather conditions," a government release said.
