SriLankan Airlines today implemented a series of precautionary measures in response to the threat posed by a Swine Flu outbreak in the Maldives.
As the Maldives issued a travel advisory to the public to restrict their movements, the flag carrier of Sri Lanka said it has activated Communicable Disease Procedures on its flights that are operating in and out of Male.
The crew will be wearing face masks and will provide the same to passengers upon request during a flight, the national carrier said.
